To Our Pastor…..

To My Pastor.

Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations” (Jeremiah 1:4-5 Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me: “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant” (Jeremiah 1:9-10

Thank you Lord for the changes that took place in 2015. To God be the Glory. I would like to thank God for our Pastor Mark Thompson, who he has put in our lives to teach us the sound doctrine of Christ. How can we hear without a preacher? Our Pastor teaches us to put all our trust in the Lord and not man. Our Pastor has all 5 Ministerial gifts, he is an Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher. Our Pastor carries the word of the Lord. I am not boasting on no man, but I can boast in the Lord about our Pastor. He tells us to, but seek first the Kingdom of God and all his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto us. What things? Joy, peace, forgiveness, unforgiveness, love, trust and faith to believe that God can do all things.

My Pastor teachers us to stand in the storm and helps us to go through the storm, by constantly preaching and teaching us the word. He can feels when we are wavering in our faith and we will receive a phone call from him. He teaches us to be strong in this perverted world so that we will not fall when a storm comes our way. He will began to tell us that God will not fail us as long as we believe in his word and what his word said for us to do.

In January of 2015 I started sitting under the teaching of our Pastor Mark Thompson and going to the Word of Christ Ministries. My Pastor does not compromise when it comes to the sound doctrine of Christ. He tells us that he is just a Man and we must follow Christ. He has given us prophecy after prophecy and it has come to past. He has also rebukes and chastised us with the word. I thank our Pastor for being forthright, as he tell us the truth. No Man, No woman gets Gods Glory.

I thank God for you and the encouraging word that God has given you to speak life into your members. My life has changed tremendously and I thank God for sending me a word when I was broken and looking for Jesus. God told you on several occasion that I was weary and getting tired and he told you to speak life into me. Pastor Mark’s word to me, do you think that God would fail you, he has heard your prayers, so come up out of the pity party and began to give God praise for the things that he has already done and the things he is getting ready to do. God is with you always, you might not feel him, or see him, but after this you will know that God was there and he will always be here for you as you put him first in your life. He said, Curtis everything will be alright.

God has blessed me and I know it was him because no man can do the things that God has done in my life and I owe God. My children lives has changed also. Thank you God for your son, your servant Pastor Mark. From my heart to yours for teaching us how to stand on God’s word. There is so much to learn, but what I have learned this far was life changing. I am already praising God for 2016

Love you Pastor Mark with the Love of the Lord!!!
Charmaine Curtis.
December 2015

To God Be The Glory

I want to first of all, give all honor and praise to the Lord Jesus Christ who is the head of my life. On December 17, 2015 while talking to Elder Mark Thompson, he asked me about my son. Now it wasn’t unusual to ask about my children but it was strange that he’d asked me about just the one boy. Immediately I began telling him how proud I was of him and how well he was doing with his life. I then asked Pastor Thompson, why he was asking? His response was that he was just asking, that’s all. I didn’t realize at the time that, that was God working through this man of God. I woke up on the morning of Dec. 18, 2015 with news that a 19 year old teen was arrested in Harrisburg of a Terrorist attempt and to top it off that this individual lived in the alley right behind my son. I immediately began to give God the praise! Then it came to me that this was the reason Eld. Thompson was asking about my son. That is what He’d seen in the spirit, he knew, God was in control so there was no need to be alarmed. I got in touch with him today, I said to him, you knew didn’t you? That is why you asked me about him. I should have known, if I didn’t know it before, I know it now, that Elder Mark Thompson is truly a man of God. He is a true prophet and it is amazing how God uses this man.

I believe in Miracles!!!

Sometimes we go through storms in our lives, we should remember that God will put no more on us than we can bare. So I waited and trusted in him as my mother was going through. On November 2, 2015 my mother was in the hospital for a week and she was crying and talking off the wall saying that she did not think that she was going to make it back home. I started talking to my Pastor Mark Thompson about what was going on with my mother and I started to cry because of what she was going through. My pastor prayed for me and my mother and he told me that God was going to perform a miracle. I called my mother and prayed and encouraged her and told her to believe and trust God that everything was going be alright. My mother had to take some test before she left the hospital all of her test came back negative and she was home by November 7, 2015 that same week. I thank God for the Miracle that he has performed in my mothers life. Also, God made away for me and my daughter to go to Marylyn, to see my mother. We stayed with her for 3 days. She is doing fine and she is eating very well and feeling great. I thank God and Pastor mark for his prayers and encouragement. That goes to show you if you trust in and believe God he will definitely make away.

He turned It!!!!!!!

I thank God for his favor upon my life. I also thank God for moving on my Pastor, Mark Thompson who prophesy blessings in my life. I thank God that I am learning to stand on my faith. My house went into foreclosure May of 2013, I went into bankruptcy trying to save my home that did not work, I realize that I was in a storm and only God could bring me out. I stayed in my house as long as I could. In 2015 is when God started bringing me out. I had changed my church membership at this time and began going to Word of Christ Ministries, Where I began to learn how to stand in times of storm. Where our Pastor teaches us through the word of God that storms will come and storms will go and that we have to learn how to trust God without wavering!

As it got closer to me moving, I consulted my pastor about this problem. He started telling how God was going to bless me and he told me back in November of 2015 that the mortgage company was going to get in touch with me, giving me 30 days. And they did, however, Pastor Thompson told me again that the mortgage company would contact me once again and that they were extending the due date seven more days. They had already given me a date to move out, December 1, 2015. I did not know why they wanted to contact me. I receive a letter from them that said, my move out date was now December 8,  2015. I did not know the reason for the extra time. When I told my Pastor what he has said to me about the mortgage company getting in touch with me, he did not even remember.

There is always a reason and a purpose for everything. I had applied for several houses that I would’ve liked to move into, it kept coming back that my credit scores was not good. My Pastor kept telling me not to worry because God was in control and he asked did I believe in what God can do. On December 1, 2015 the 1st original date that I was suppose to move out, I received a call from my realtor saying that I had an offer for a home with an option to buy. By December 7th 2015 I was in my new home and that was the reason why God had given me an extra week. He was working on the best. He did not just want me to have anything.

During this time, I had to stand on my faith and when I grew weary, my Pastor stood on his faith. He kept telling me that I would not become homeless as long as I trusted and believed. He also, said not to speak anything negative about the situation, because God hears all. God is an awesome God! Psalm 30:11,  states that, he turned my mourning into dancing. He turned that situation around and now I have a newer and better home to lay my head. Thank you God you are the greatest.

He turned it,
